Ali Abbas Zafar Wraps Beparwah Shoot; YRF Return Feels Like Home

Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar has officially wrapped up shooting for his upcoming romantic action‑drama Beparwah, which stars Ahaan Panday and Sharvari. The director announced the completion on Instagram, posting a behind‑the‑scenes clip that showcased photographs taken on the Punjab sets.

In his post, Zafar reflected on the experience of filming the story and the sense of returning to Yash Raj Films (YRF), the production house where he previously helmed Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. He wrote, “It’s a Film Wrap on BEPARWAH In Punjab, it’s been an incredible emotion Journey, coming back to direct for @yrf feels like coming back home ❤️. Thank you to the entire Cast and Crew of the Film, can’t wait to bring this to Theatres. Rab Rakha.”

Sharvari, who co‑stars with Panday, responded to the announcement with a supportive comment: “Sir! ♥️🧿🥹🤞🏻.” The film marks the first on‑screen pairing of the two actors, following Panday’s recent work in Saiyaara and Sharvari’s growing portfolio across various genres.

YRF released the title along with a teaser poster, announcing a worldwide theatrical release date of March 26, 2027. The project is produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Zafar, who is re‑uniting with the studio to deliver a blend of romance and action.

Zafar’s history with YRF includes the blockbuster Sultan starring Salman Khan and the action‑thriller Tiger Zinda Hai featuring Khan and Katrina Kaif. With Beparwah, he is returning to the house with a fresh narrative that promises to combine emotional storytelling with high‑energy sequences.
