Punjabi Singer Juss Accused of Copying BTS Jung Kook's Music Videos

Punjabi singer Juss, known for hits such as "Sunniyan Sunniyan" and "Tu Jo Mileya," has found himself at the center of a plagiarism debate after fans noticed striking resemblances between his new music video, "Behgaya," and BTS member Jung Kook’s solo videos for "Seven" and "3D." The controversy erupted two weeks ago when the video for "Behgaya" was released, and viewers quickly began posting side‑by‑side comparisons on social media.

Observers highlighted several scenes that they claim mirror Jung Kook’s work, including a heated argument in a retro‑style restaurant, sequences filmed in a laundromat, and rain‑soaked dance moments. Fans also pointed out similarities in framing, location choices, and overall visual style, arguing that the overlap goes beyond typical artistic influence. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “This literally feels like Jungkook's 3D and Seven MVs mixed together with barely anything original added. Did y'all seriously think no one would notice?”

Despite the growing online debate, neither Juss nor his record label has issued a statement addressing the accusations or provided any credit to Jung Kook’s team. Fans have taken to X to express frustration, with comments such as, “I don't see Jungkook and his team in the credits ???? THIS IS SOO UNPROFESSIONAL AND MAD DISRESPECTFUL,” and, “But??? He didn't even try to hide it.” Some users emphasized that drawing inspiration is acceptable, but outright copying a music‑video concept is not.

The backlash has also reached the comments section of the "Behgaya" video on YouTube, where viewers have flooded the space with allegations of plagiarism. Several fans have even tagged Big Hit Music, Jung Kook’s agency, urging the label to investigate and, if necessary, pursue legal action against Juss for the alleged similarities.

Jung Kook’s solo career began in July 2023 with the release of "Seven," featuring Latto. The track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, reached No. 3 on the UK’s Official Singles Chart, and became the first song by an Asian solo artist to top the Billboard chart. The success of "Seven" set the stage for his follow‑up single "3D," which continued the momentum of his solo endeavors.
