Malayalam actress Roshna Ann Roy has launched a paid subscription tier on Instagram, allowing her fans to access exclusive content for a monthly fee of Rs 390. The move was announced via a post on the actress’s profile, where she outlined the benefits that subscribers will receive, such as subscriber badges, behind‑the‑scenes footage, and special updates on her social and channel activity.
Roshna’s new service has already attracted over 1,700 subscribers. In addition to the standard Instagram posts, stories and reels, paying members can enjoy a range of niche content categories listed on her subscription page, including coaching tips, recipe shares, product reviews and detailed trip itineraries. The subscription model is part of a growing trend among Kerala’s creators, who are turning to paid tiers to offer fans deeper engagement and premium material.
The actress, known for her roles in films like Oru Adaar Love, Sullu and Paavam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte, first entered the Malayalam film scene with the 2017 debut Varnyathil Aashanka. Her breakthrough came with the hit Oru Adaar Love, where she portrayed the character Sneha. Roshna has since appeared in several other projects, including Mask and Dhamaka, and has built a significant following through her modelling and design work.
Roshna’s Instagram subscription launch follows the example of other regional creators, such as Purple Halcyon (Ashwani A), who have also begun monetizing their online presence through paid tiers. By offering exclusive content and a closer connection to her audience, Roshna is joining a wave of actors and digital personalities who are exploring Instagram’s subscription feature as a new revenue stream and a way to deepen fan relationships.
