Ajay Devgn lands 2‑acre farm in Karjat; pays ₹1.6 cr for agricultural plot

Ajay Devgn has expanded his real‑estate holdings by buying a 2‑acre plot of agricultural land in the village of Bhoirwadi, located in Karjat taluka of Raigad district, Maharashtra. The purchase was finalized on 29 October 2026, with the actor paying ₹1.60 crore for the 0.829‑hectare parcel, as revealed by property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix.

According to the sale deed, the seller is Rashid Hasanmiya Patel, while the buyer is listed as Ajay alias Vishal Veeru Devgan, the actor’s full legal name. The transaction included a stamp duty of ₹9.6 lakhs and a registration fee of ₹30,000, bringing the total expenditure to roughly ₹1.70 crore, excluding other incidental costs. Payment was made through banking channels in multiple instalments.

Devgn’s new acquisition adds to a growing portfolio of residential and commercial properties in Mumbai. In 2021 he bought a Juhu bungalow for ₹47.5 crore, which he later leased to Florian Hurel Salon Private Limited in August 2026, generating an estimated ₹10.61 crore in rental income over five years. He also purchased five commercial office units in the Signature building, Oshiwara, for ₹45.09 crore in 2023, and has since leased out office space to Kabir Khan Entertainment and Bombay Design Centre Private Limited, earning monthly rents of ₹7 lakhs and ₹5.47 lakhs respectively.

With the Karjat farm, Devgn now owns a property outside Mumbai that could diversify his investment portfolio and potentially offer agricultural returns or future development opportunities. The actor’s continued interest in real‑estate suggests a strategic approach to wealth building beyond his film career.
