ARIA bans fully AI‑made tracks; charts now exclude unlicensed AI music
Australia’s ARIA Charts will no longer feature tracks created entirely by AI, following a controversy over a DJ’s AI‑assisted cover of Madonna’s “Like a Prayer.” The rule allows AI‑assisted songs that are substantially human‑made and meet streaming standards to stay eligible. The change aims to protect the integrity of the charts and the music industry’s licensing framework.
